Why Single?

Kindly read the following blog:
http://meenakshigangwani.wordpress.com/2011/12/22/why-all-good-boyz-are-committed-and-all-stupid-boyz-are-single/

Now, if you have read that blog,

My Question is,
Can these renowned personalities be classified as "Stupid", just because they are single and definitely not going to mingle in near future:

1. Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee
2. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
3. Mr. Ratan N. Tata

My readers if you haven't read that blog, do read and come back.

There are 2 sub categories of being single:

  1. Single for lifetime.
  2. single for time being.

Acc. to my STUPID thinking there may be many reasons for a person to remain single:

  • They are trying to court every second person but are not successful.
  • They have some pre-conceived notions about their dream girl/boy and the person they meet doesn't match that level.
  • They do meet somebody they would like to spend their life with but can't do so because
  1. They have some other priorities, like career, that requires their full attention for the time being.
  2. They don't want to go against their parents/ family.

  • They might be gay/lesbian and don't want others to know that (But strictly speaking they cannot be said to be single)

Commitment.

To me a Commitment is only complete when you have told your parents about the relationship and get their acceptance (If you really care about them),
or you have enough guts to accept the person, whatever may be the consequences (Ishaqzaade types).

(Not to offend people who are into a committed relationship, i have great respect for these people)

A response to the aforementioned  Blog:

Coming to your saying that all committed boys are good, I would like to mention that I know some boys who are never single but they keep changing girlfriends like Sim-Cards. What can be said about the character of these so called GOOD BOYS?

There are some girls, too, who behave like this and are ever ready to dump their current boyfriend for the sake of a better boyfriend. But, I would not like to start BOY VS GIRL thing here. As you have mentioned that all girls are good irrespective of their relationship status, I would take your words happily.

Every boy is single before going into a relationship. So, according to your definition the boy was stupid before the commitment. That means he became good/wise just after coming into contact with the girl. Then, my friend, the girl should be given credit and not the boy. And if this is the case then you are right in saying that all girls are good irrespective of their relationship status.

Now I will come to your case. I am very happy to find that your terms and conditions for a boyfriend are quite simple. I do know some people who can fit your criteria quite easily. If you still have that gentleman boy (courteous, mild, respectful, helpful, a good human being, not fake, well-mannered, basically gentleman types) in your mind, then we can find him soon..:P
(I know you had written that blog some 9 months ago, that’s a long time to change someone’s opinion.)

On a serious note, I think that it’s not easy to define exactly what kind of boyfriend/ girlfriend you really want. Some feelings are beyond definitions and explanations. I am perfectly fine with that.

Unfortunately, I had to write this response because some of my friends who had read the mentioned blog wanted a response.

MY intention is not to offend anybody- single, double, triple, multiple, whatever.

Also to mention that it should be taken purely as an opinion and OPINIONS ARE NOT UNIVERSAL TRUTHS. I just want to say that there are two sides of a coin and both should be checked properly before taking a call.

My blog should be purely taken as food for thought and nothing more.

Strangest Dream I had

No, I had a Dream isn't 'not yet another poem' which some of my friends would say when they see a post coming from my blog. Its a simple Dream which i saw last night, it was strange yet sweet.
i could recollect phrases from my dream, so i decided to write it down here to share with you all.

so here it goes

'Did i have a Dream-girl once', was what i could recollect before dozing off into a dream, a dream so strange that i would jot down on a peace of paper the next morning.

I woke up in a strange place in Delhi, most Prob. my Old house at Madipur, i ran length and breath to make sure where i was and i was absolutely correct, yes i am at Madipur. But, where are my parents. I could not find them at any corner there. I was lonely and started to weep.

Time passed and no one came to my rescue, suddenly some 1 put a hand on my shoulder i opened my eye and saw a beautiful image of a girl in front. Yes she was there, the girl of my dreams, she took me by her hands made me stand in front of her, embraced me and said those words, "Don't worry my jaan, i am here and would always be with you".

The very next moment, I was at Meerut, How! How did i come here, who made me come here, why am i here, where is my Sweet angel. what am i dong in a Rikshaw and why is he pulling me.
The rikshaw puller was an old man in his 70's, and was pulling hard, i stopped him and asked, he narrated me as to when i came into his Rikshaw and where i was headed, and what would i do there. How did he know all these things, did i tell him, but when did i tell him, and what happened to My angel, where did she go.
Was that a dream.
Ah! forget it, its just a Dream.
Rikshaw took me to a School at Meerut, A Medical School, where i ought to take an Interview of the Head Mistress.
Interview! what! am i an Interviewer?
I gave him his Hard Earned money, and thanked him for Dropping me there and waking me up from my dream, 'thanked him for telling me who i actually was'.

I made my way into the school and went straight towards The Head Mistress Room.
I opened the gate and i was allowed in to be seated, the strangest part here was that she was seated next to one of my friends "Vidusha" .
What is she dong here? she is ought to be at Bangalore, where she was Studying for MBBS.
oh, the time has passed she must be a recrute here,
then came another person in the room,

what is this Happening here, Aayaji?
I had known from the sources that she had been dead a long time back, but here she was, well and fit enough to punch a man down Dead.
something stange in this world is happening here, Is the Dooms Day nearby i thought,
but then i did what i was here to do
i was taken a round of the school after the interview.

I came out of the school and searched my pocket, i found keys.
Yes, Keys, Keys of my car, i took the keys and moved towards my car.
sat down and started to move.
the road was Jam-packed with people i was not allowed to drive properly. I came out of the car, and started to shout at the people, just to know that my car and keys were gone
Where is my car, it was just next to me, i started to move from here knowing that i had come to a place of the unknown and i was ought to live in this strangeness.
I walked and walked till i fell down to faint.

when i gained consciousness i was in a house again,
who took me here, i searched and saw a women in white saree sitting next to me. No, I dont know her her face was Blurred, didn't rec. her at all. then again i fainted.

i woke up again but in another room different from any of the previous ones, i was sweating badly, don't know why, but this time i was well enough to sit back on the bed, some1 Came with a cup of Coffee in her hands, Yes she is here My Dream girl.
Phew! that was just a dream which i saw. I am at My Holy-Abode again. well and sound enough.
I tried to narrate the Story to my Angel,
there was flood in My room, Water, water every where and i could not see any thing.

the next thing i know is that
My Mother Standing near my Bed, with a Jug of water in her hands and Shouting
"Uth jaa, 1 baj gaya hai Din ka, kitna aur soyega, Lic ka Premium bhi jama kerwaana hai aaj"
(Wake up, its already 1, how much rest do u need, you have to pay the premium for Lic today.)

This was the time when i realized that i had been dreaming of something very uncommon.
I smiled and just smiled.

P.S. this is just a dream, and not to be taken seriously. :D

The Different "India"

The Different "India"

India-Democrat
where, people love to hate,

people from northern part are not allowed to work in south,
whereas, a person from south comes to north and is being Praised alot.

where, people from a house does not even give stale chapaties to the 'Sadhus',
whereas, they can Cook a million dishes to serve 'Baabus' visiting their place.

where, people don't have money to feed their Young ones are Given free Mobile-phones,
where, a person whose daily income is more than Rs 32 is not considered as poor
whereas the price of basic commodities break the backbone of the middle class.

where a person who stands for the country to put a curb to corruption
is betrayed by his fellow-people amidst the corrupted country
where the people are only considered as Mass Audience.

where the ministers (of all parties) stand together to Raise their Salary in just a Day
whereas to pass a law it takes more than 65 years.

where the country still goes on with "Chalta hai" attitude.

wants to be.. But cant.

I can see my Shadow,
In the darkest Night of my life,
bearing Agony, In despair,
Being dejected by the world,
want's to emit, but can't

I can sense the touch of a soul,
In the Brightest day of my life.
shedding tears, in vain,
Being censored by the world.
wants to have a rank with mortals, but can't.

Life without love is Nothing,
Love without life is Nothing.

To Love is to Give Life to  a Shadow,
And

the Aim of life is to Love Every one around you..

Scene Of Gaffar Market

This poem i Wrote in 2008 September 13.
I was there in the market when the blast took place, but was far away from the place where it happened.
i came back to my place but on my way 2 my home i was able to see the tragic scene..
and wrote a short poem on the scene the Day after.
here it goes

People People every where,
    Dreaming, Yawning,
Going here and there.

some people walking,
   some people talking,
walking talking every where.

Smells of Scent,
   Voice of Gents,
People seen every where.

Sudden havoc,
   Bombs & blast,
crying People every where.

Someone running,
   someone Laying,
Bloodshed Bloodshed every where.

People HELPING,
People TRYING,

HUMANS SEEN EVERY WHERE...

CHOTU... aur wo 5 Minute..

Sunday.. 21st..
Ah! This day, i was eagerly waiting for this day to come. Since the 16th of Aug, there has been a Person named "ANNA HAZAARE" who has been on Fast to Fight against corruption, with his people from INDIA AGAINST CORRUPTION. I dint know much of him and got some information from internet to know him, i also got to know that he was fighting the government to implement LOKPAL BILL(OMBUDSMAN) in our country to put a Curb to corruption.

On this day, there was a big Rally to be called from "India Gate" and would march towards "Ramlila maidan" where 'ANNA' ji was on Fast. I took a few friends with me to there and could sense the atmosphere that 'This is it'. Now we knew that something is going to happen soon after the rally. I was astonished to see the enormous amount of people to support this person. After the Rally i went back to the metro station to board a train towards Karol Bagh and so i did.

I was feeling too tired, to walk back to my home which was quite far from that place and it was already 8pm. So i hired a Rikshaw from the there (bargaining from 20Rs to 15Rs ). I was thinking of the whole day as what i did. Suddenly, something came into my mind and asked the name of the Rikshaw puller, here is what, i had a conversation with him and this is what i m writing down.

I : Tumhara naam kya hai?
He : (Surprisingly) CHOTU.
I : Kahan k rhne waale ho?
He : Bihar.
I : Kitne saal k ho?
He : 14.

I : Bas 14, school jaate ho?
He : haan kabhi kabhi
I : Kab, subha?
He : nahi, 2 mahine baad jayange, jab school ki fees jama ker lenge apne Gaoun main.
I : Tumhaare mata-pita..
He: Baba guzar gaye, maa hain wo bihar main hain gaoun main.
I : Aur kaun kaun gai ghar main.
He : 3 choti bahanen hain. Maa ne pese kamane bheja hai.
I : to tmhe yahan kaun laaya?
He: Chaha.
I : chacha kya kerte hain?
He : wo bhi riksha chalate hain.
I : kitna kama lete ho.
He : (he looked at me) din main kabhi 100, to kabhi 200. pakka nahi hai. baaki maalik ka jo hissa hota hai wo le leta hai.
I : malik? jiska riksha tum chalate ho?
He : haan..
I : kya tumhe pata hai Baal majdoori gair kaanuni hai,

He : Kise farak padhta hai saab, hum paise nahi kamayenge to gahr paise kaun bhejega aur humare school ki fees kaun bharega( now again he looked into my eyes)

looking into his eyes this time, i was ashamed of myself as to why did i ask him such question, and we should ask the same question to ourselves.

He : aap yahan hi rhte hain naa saab? aap kahan tak padhe hain?
I : main Collage main padhta hoon aur ab mera aakhiri saal hai.
He : kisi din hum bhi collage jayenge saab aap dekhna? aur aapki tarah hi farrate waali angreji bhi bolenge..

I : bhut badhiya, lekin abhi to tumhara school jana bhoot zaroori hai iske liye,
He : hume pata hai saab, isi liye to hum yahan Fees jama ker rhe hain.

I dint have any questions to ask him as my mood was too-upset to see his plight, but was amazed to see his enthusiasm about his future.
then i asked again,

I : koi tumhe yahan tang bhi kerta hai.

how this question came to my mind i dont know but i asked.

He : (After a Pause) Chaha,
I : wo kyu, kaise
He : chacha daaru peker aata hai, aur sunata hai.
I : to tum iski complaint kyu nahi kerte?
He : kis se karen saab, jisne naukri dilaai usi ki kerenge to kahan jayenge?

he kept quiet for some time then He explained to me the kind of torture done on him every night.

I : Tum 1 kaam kero wapas chale jaao
He : 2 mahine baad.
I : roko roko.. mera ghar aa gaya..

I looked into his eyes, he was crying. I asked him why was he crying. he said that i was the first person who had listened to him and talked to him since the day he had been to Delhi. No body here cares for him and he surely wants to go back to his native place and live there with his family, this city for him had been a hell for him and he only thinks of his village and his family and friends.
I took out the money and gave it to him, turned around and took out my handkerchief.
there was a loud noice from my back Chotu calling me

"Saab baaki paise to le jaao".

i went straight into my house, i did not have the courage left in me to look back at that child again
I only wish to god to fulfill his dream and let him be away from this "HELL".
GOD BLESS HIM.

Note: the whole day what i was looking for, was going to the rally but at the end of the day, those 5 minutes was what that struck my mind.
dont have any more words to say..
Could not click his picture as the battery was low, and would post his picture if ever i find him(I hope i wont).

Thanks for reading 5 minutes of  Chotu and my life..

The Darkest Days of my life.

The Darkest Days of my life..

The Darkest Days of my life,
stabbed my soul with my own knife,
then waited for the wounds to heal,
got stabbed again, but with a surprise.

with agitation, i turned around,
the scene was not sound,
i found my friends standing there,
stabbing me, pushing me to the ground.

they made merry, they made love,
and they carried my body above.

my soul was shaken,
i was heart-broken,
i was watching all this,
when i was in heaven.

i asked the almighty,
"you are the diety,
tell me what have i done,
am i not your Son?"

He told me at once,
i am his Favourite, and hence
he had called me to be with him,
to take a little Glance.

to take a little glance on those,
who are my frinds and who are my foes,
lived a life with me, now tearing me apart,
to look, how their envy, Greed grows.
